It is not a hidden fact that we are madly in love with vintage botanical illustrations-flowers and herbs. Designing vintage & eroded font gave us the privileges to express this passion through a product which has been downloaded over 35K times. We have received a huge amount of love from the people who downloaded our font and used it in their wedding card invitations, brand logos, personal projects, and more. There is nothing compared to the feeling of being a part of someone’s most important moments in their lifetime.

The idea of surrounding yourself with objects that reflect what you and your beliefs are has always been one of our interests. This idea became in action in Ravagh project. We did a photoshoot in their showroom. Based on the photos we designed a website concept as well as poster designs.
Combining great lighting with selected objects and finding the best angle to capture the essence of the furniture was what we were seeking in the photoshoot.

The idea of redesigning well known brand logos came to our minds when we decided to visualize what would happen if we all lived in a pixelated world. The designs are based on our PIXEL ART font.

“See how small you are next to the mountains. Accept what is bigger than you and what you do not understand. The world may appear illogical to you, but it does not follow that it is illogical per se. Our life is not the measure of all things: consider sublime places a reminder of human insignificance and frailty.”  ― Alain de Botton

Tabriz, also known as “City of Firsts” is one of the remarkably beautiful destinations in Iran. Being among the most popular places along Silk Road has added to the beauties of this city and left it the largest covered Bazaar in the world.
Our time in Tabriz was something that would not get out of your head easily and one of the ways to calm the firing soul of an artist is sharing her/his experience with the world.

This project is about concepts that are very personal in one's life. Concepts like Life and Death, Dreams, Feelings and Lies. We have chosen a combination of photos and texts to get across what we had in mind. All the texts are from the book "In Search of Lost Time", who else can be this on point, detailed and honest about what goes on in our minds and hearts than the great Marcel Proust?

Beauty surrounds us, but usually we need to be walking in a garden to know it.  ― Jalaluddin Rumi

And earth is still beautiful.
Of course it would be more beautiful without borders, wars, etc.

Shirāz & dāryān has used a different point of view in this project to show why planet earth is still beautiful. "They Call It" is the name of this project and it refers to what names people have been giving to the places inside those borders. Let's find out what they call it this time: IRAN.

We framed the images that we wanted using Google Earth and then reduced the blurring effect caused by the atmosphere in order to make images more clear.
